Safely Remove Skin Tags with Tea Tree Oil

Skin tags are small, flesh colored flaps of skin which can be found around the body, normally in the folds of the skin where friction occurs. They are not known to be hazardous to health in any way and are more of an inconvenience for sufferers.   • Clean the area around the blemish using soap and water
  • Pat the area with a clean towel until completely dry
  • Cover the healthy skin surrounding the tag with Vaseline to protect it
  • Place a couple of drops of oil onto a cotton ball
  • Secure the cotton to the skin tag using a bandage
  • Repeat two or three times a day or alternatively, leave overnight

Alternatively, if no change is seen after a week, the amount of tea tree oil can be increased. When care is taken, tea tree oil skin tag removal is a safe, cost-effective way to remove the growths with minimal risk of scarring. Although it is not guaranteed to work, most would agree that it is definitely worth trying this technique before committing to buying an expensive over the counter product which offers little more assurance to being rid of the tag than the tea tree oil.
